COOPERATION HULL is a group of local residents and Hull enthusiasts working together to transform a city that’s been named the worst in the UK multiple times, into a place that lives up to the pride residents feel for their home town. So far they’ve organised citizen’s assemblies in every borough, and are now taking local people’s ideas for city improvement and putting them into practice, always collaboratively, and often by meeting up to discuss their plans over food and drink.
A similar citizens assembly project in Paris just passed it’s first citizen created bill straight into law, shaping the future of Paris.
